Amanda and her brother Josh have to move to a new neighborhood and don't want to. But that's not the only reason that they don't like the new house. Sounds of giggling, ghostly visits, bad dreams and neighborhood children that are strange really make their bigger, older home seem awful. Even their dog runs away from it. This books has some really interesting and horrific incidents, but none so scary that your youngster won't be able to read it. Some descriptions are unpleasant but none very gory. A good length and a good easy read make this a good choice.
